Old Corpse Road: 'Tis withing hour... As spectres we haunt this kingdom

If you don’t like Cradle of Filth you won’t like these guys, simple as that. The recording sounds like Cradle’s “The Principle of Evil Made Flesh” with better sound and even more relentless and brutal. There are spoken words with very cute British accent, gutturals, keyboards, blast-beats, cool riffs and some epic instrumental parts too.
The vocals are overwhelming, so better supervise your doses carefully. I love some Cradle once in a while of course, so I enjoyed this release for the same reasons mentioned above. Even though the album can be a bit repetitive, it shows that the band has put a lot of effort in the music, plus they are talented and proficient with their instruments. The production is good and thank god they didn’t use a drum machine. On a non-musical note, please guys, delete those promotional pictures from your website.
The album comes with a stone taken from the Old Corpse Road housed in a velvet pouch!!
7/10: Stones from the Old Corpse Road housed in a velvet pouch.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
